Rachit - The Rubic Star
Rachhit Kalra a young child of only 3 years and 4 months has become the youngest (Rubik's) Cuber of India. He has solved 3 kinds of cubes - the 3 x 3 x 3, 2 x 2 x 2 and the Pyraminx. The record was witnessed and accorded by Board members of Indian Cube Association (ICA) who specially travelled from Vapi for this event. The event was held at the Kalra residence in Chembur, Mumbai. An interesting fact as per the chairman of the ICA in that approximately only 0.01% of the world population are able to solve the Rubik's Cube. Proud mother Mrs. Prerna Kalra along with his teacher Mrs. Poonam Vadhavan have been training him from one and half months. Earlier this month Rachhit had travelled with his mother to Delhi for 10 days to learn with his teacher who is Delhi based and also successfully participated in the Guinness Book of Records event for largest number of people solving Rubik's 3 x 3 x 3 cube on a virtual platform.
